1972
Steven A. Humphries is a senior personnel sergeant for the U.S. Army stationed in Fremont, Calif.

John R. Burns is a sales manager for Drive Time Financial in Acworth, Ga.

1975
Charles W. Tudor was promoted to general manager of the Ferguson Enterprise locations in Hampton Roads.

1976
Myra Ann Smith is the director of residential services at Riverside Healthcare System. She spent two weeks providing community outreach and delivering supplies in Biloxi/Pass Christian, Miss., as a Red Cross volunteer after Hurricane Katrina.

Linda Dorband Talay is a preschool teacher at First United Methodist Preschool in Newport News, and she and her husband, Ted, just became new grandparents.

1979
Pamela (Forrest) Montane married Marcel Michael Montane in May 1998. She is a teacher at Yorktown Middle School.

Chris L. Pickard is a senior program manager at Ferguson Enterprises.

1980
Raymon Michael McAdaragh, Ph.D., has been listed and published in the 2006 edition of Marquis Who’s Who in America.

Joyce E. Aytch-Ashley married Michael Ashley on May 9, 1992. She is a senior financial service representative with SunTrust Bank.

1981
Becky Stewart, vice president of the submarine program at Northrop Grumman Newport News, received the Women in Business achievement award from Inside Business for her demonstrated leadership, professional accomplishment and her commitment to the community.

1983
Laura Rivero has been promoted to the assistant finance manager at the Newport News Cannon Plant and is one of the highest-ranking women in the company.

1984
Joseph Dunford is the chief land use manager/inspector for the city of Hampton and graduated from the George Washington University with a master's degree in public administration. He has worked as an adjunct instructor for the Saint Leo College and recently came back to the school. He is the father of one daughter and offers a special thanks to Buck Miller for all his encouragement and support.

Zee White Reynolds is an extended care worker at Denbigh Baptist Christian School.

Gregory Tyrone Robinson is a business development specialist for MacNeal Health Network in Berwyn, Ill.

1986
Jonathan M. Kashouty is a district sales manager for Pfizer Inc. in New York, N.Y.

1990
Avis S. Whitfield Brown is an English teacher at Atlantic Shores Christian School.

1992
Robert Edward Dubberly and his wife announce the birth of their third son, Grant, on Aug. 26, 2005. Grant is the youngest brother of Robert, 6, and Hugh, 3. Mr. Dubberly was admitted into the KPMG LLP partnership in October 2005.

1993
Rebecca O. Deaux received a master’s degree in technology integration in the classroom from NOVA Southeastern in June 2005.

Michael H. Long II was named outside sales rep of the year for 2004 and 2005 at Accu-Tech, a national telecom products distributor.

Laura R. Byrd is real estate agent at Coldwell Banker Professional Realtors in Hampton.

Keri Apple (Allaun) Simmons and her husband, Ian Simmons, announce the birth of their daughter, Sara Elizabeth, in November 2004.

1995
Robin (Cornett) Davis and her husband, Wayne Davis, announce the birth of their first child, a son, Bradley Wayne Devis, on Oct. 10, 2004.

Meghan (Woodcock) Guethe married Brandon Guethe on Oct. 1, 2005.

Katrina Lynn (Smith) Keener announces the birth of her son, Trenton Robert Keener, on July 22, 2005.

Larry D. Steiner Jr. completed his master’s degree in educational administration from the College of William and Mary in 2004.

Stephanie Smith Cooper and her husband, Michael Cooper, announce the birth of their second child, Logan Matthew, on Jan. 3, 2006.

Barbara (Farley) Delgado and her husband, Joseph, proudly announce the birth of their second son, Benjamin Joseph, on Nov. 29, 2005.

Karen (Hooten) Mattingly married Randall Mattingly in May 2005.

Ron Pegram and his wife, Beth (Wolak) Pegram, announce the birth of their second child, Bethann Riley, 7 pounds, 6 ounces, 19 inches long, on Feb. 24, 2005.

Kerry (O’Brien) Smith married James B. Smith III in 2005. They are expecting their first child in April 2006.

Jennifer (Moir) Griffiths and her husband announce the birth of their first child, Charles Fitz-Allen Griffiths, on April 30, 2005.

Catherine Elizabeth Riddick is a teacher at Smithfield High School.

1998
Luis A. Rivera married Mary Katherine Rivera in 2003, and they announce the birth of their son, Alex L. Rivera, on May 19, 2004.

1999
Robin White Bowles is a teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes School in Richmond.

Kevin T. Dolby is attending Georgia State University pursuing his master’s degree in fine arts.

David Mitchell and his wife, Jamie (Hawks) Mitchell, announce the birth of their son, Preston, on April 17, 2005. Mr. Mitchell is the athletic director for Alliance Christian School.

Kimberly Turner Schwarting and her husband, Ian Karl Schwarting, announce the birth of their first child, Claire Ellen, on Nov. 22, 2005.

2000
Amy (Yaeckel) Geabhart and her husband, Ralph V. Geabhart III, announce the birth of their son, Lucas Thomas, in September 2005.

Christopher Truscott is a national news editor at Internet Broadcasting Systems in Minneapolis, Minn., and is making his first attempt at writing a novel.

Ruth Anne (McMain) Reed has received the honor of being recognized by the Daily Press as one of “10 under 30” successful women. Ms. Reed is the vice president of human resources for the Patient Advocate Foundation in Hampton.

2001
Jessica (Ledbetter) Fowler and Michael Fowler were married on Aug. 12, 2005. Mrs. Fowler is a web developer for Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, and her husband is an assistant projects manager for Modular Dimensions in Newport News.

Abigail Goodwyn graduated in August 2005 with a master’s of business administration in human resource management from Regent University School of Business.

Carleen Helen (McGoran) Lawson and her husband, Matthew Lawson, had a baby girl named Adeline on Nov. 9, 2004. The Lawsons are both teachers for the York County School District.

Linda H. Loyd is in her second year at Yale Divinity School and was awarded a grant to assist the Anglican Diocese of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Mrs. Loyd has been married to Gary Loyd for 33 years and has four grown children. Her older two children work in television in New York City. Another child is studying at Old Dominion University, and one works for Americorp in California.

Andrea Krans Nelson and her husband, Shawn Nelson, announce the birth of their baby girl, Savannah Grace Nelson, on Dec. 6, 2005.

Eric Joseph Quinn married Julia Golod on May 1, 2004. He is finishing his degree at Drexel University and will graduate in August 2006 with a master’s degree as a physician assistant.

James Knight Ord III graduated from Brigham Young University law school in June 2005 and plans to take the Utah bar in February 2006. He started a holding company and consultant business based both in Utah and San Diego, Calif. It has interests in California, Australia, New Zealand and will soon be expanding to Mexico. Mr. Ord is planning to attend the University of California at San Diego part-time to begin work on a doctorate degree in political economy.

Heidi L. (Neidlinger) Ramos married Jose “Tito” Ramos on Nov. 8, 2003, and they are expecting their first child in June 2006.

Ethan Leasure Cochran is a network engineer at Jewell Technical Consulting in Manassas.

Sarah Meyer announces her engagement on Dec. 10, 2005, to Jim Womer.

Jennifer Lynn (O’Connor) Salyers plans to graduate from the University of Baltimore Law School in May 2006, when she and her husband, Tom Salyers Jr., will move back to Virginia.

Lindsay N. Wilson announces her engagement to Erik Lawson on Dec. 2, 2005. A September wedding is planned.

Page Bishop is the editor-in-chief at the Williamsburg Health Journal in Williamsburg.

Kelli Leigh (Yaseck) Caras married Christopher Caras ’05 on Aug. 20, 2005. They announce the birth of their first son, Logan, in October 2004.

Matthew Chow is a manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Alexandria.

Han (Le) Guillory is a financial analyst for Northrop Grumman Information Technology in Newport News.

Brandi Masson married Christopher Masson, a captain in the United States Army, on Sept. 18, 2004.

Casey Martin is an account executive in the media general department at the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Jaclyn Morris is working as an aquarist (husbandry department) at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

Rickey Lee Park and his wife, Rebecca McMillion, are expecting the birth of their son, Thomas Aiden Park, on March 17, 2006.

Ashley Monroe Robertson graduated from the 35th Henrico County Basic Police Academy in December 2003, and obtained officer first class status in June 2005.

Amanda G. Wright is a contract administrator for the National Institute of Aerospace in Hampton.

Melissa Batten was recently promoted to branch manager at Wachovia Securities in Newport News.

LaToya Charmaine Jones is a technical writer for Peninsula Habitat for Humanity in Hampton.

Christina (Perry) Rizzo and her husband, Brian Rizzo, announce the birth of their son, Luke Mason, on Dec. 22, 2005.

Cynthia Hoffman Watson married Christopher Watson on May 14, 2005.

Vanessa Gray Young married James Young on July 16, 2005.

2005
Kendra Marie (Patillo) Dove married current CNU student Terrance St. Clair Dove III on Nov. 19, 2005, in Woodbridge. Mrs. Dove is a therapeutic mentor working with troubled youth at Lutheran Family Services. The couple resides in Newport News.

Nicole Hruska is a field marketing representative at Boost Mobile in Chicago.

Robert J. May ’05 graduated from Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, Fort Lee, on Nov. 23, 2005, as an honor graduate. He then graduated from the United States Army Airborne School on Dec. 16, 2005, and left for Hawaii on Jan. 2, 2006, to join the 325th Brigade Support Battalion, where he works as a supply platoon leader.

Robert Phillip McKenzie married Kerri Anne (Glaze) McKenzie May 21, 2005. Mr. McKenzie is a police officer and his wife is an animal control officer for James City County.

Ellen E. Howard and Brian M. Howard were married Nov. 19, 2005, and reside in Chesapeake.
